Great Start

The girls turned in an impressive game! They beat the Panthers 8-1. The Offense looked great and so did the Defense and the Goalies. Things to work on will be more dribbling, staying in our zones or commit to a switch and communicate it on offense. Defense we need to clear the ball when under great pressure and dribble out when the opportunity arises, you can go try to score but you must yell "Switch" so the forward can go take over your defensive position!

Next are the SuperGirls, they finished 1st place in the other division and they will be ready for us they barely lost to LoneStar!

Please wear your Outdoor Nike royal jersey, White shorts w/number and your white socks!!

Game is at 12:00pm sharp! Please be there by 11:40am to warm up.

Allow enough time for parking since you know that is very time consuming!!

Please make sure the girls Do Not stay up to late. Go SuperStars!!!!!!!!!!

Practice

We have 3 practice days before the season begins. We know we have at least two girls out for our first game. Please stay healthy and make sure the 10 remaining girls make it to the game on time. It will be very important that all players get there 20 minutes before the game begins.

Challenging Season ahead.....

The Bruisers put up a fight yesterday. Four of us were missing, Coach Desi, Haley, Ali, and Emi!
Coach Daniel did a great job getting the girls to fight for a tie and escape the loss. He only had nine girls! The game was a draw 2-2. We finished 3rd out of seven U10 teams..... :)

This Spring LSA season is going to be like a Tournament! LSA put the Top seven teams in U9 and put them all in one division. The teams we will play and their positions from last season are as follows: SuperGirls 1st place Red Div.; Cheetahs 2nd place Red Div.; Extreme 3rd place Red Div.; SuperStars 1st place Black Div.; LoneStar 2nd place Black Div.; Panthers 3rd place Black Div.; Bears 4th place Black Div.; As you can see every game will be TOUGH, I don't see any blowouts the girls will have to play hard.

Practice is very very important for the rest of the season so if you are not out of town or very sick please make sure you ATTEND practice!!!

Lets have a great season and show all the U9 divisions who the true Champions are!!!!!!!!!!!
