Another nail biter! SuperStars 1-0 defeat the 2-0 Titans FC. This puts us in a three way tie for first place (Comets 2-0, Lightning 3-0) in this early stage of the season. We have the momentum and we must hold on to it throughout the season. We had some awesome saves by the goalies and defenders. The forwards had about 12 attempts at the goal and could only get 3 in.
Up next we have the Comets. They are 10 1/2 year olds that are about to go select next season under the wing of Lubbock Soccer Club. They have an awesome coach, Noel, guiding them. He has an amazing U12 girls team. The Comets '96. You should watch them one day....
Next game: Saturday Jan. 31 8:50am. Please be there by 8:30am. It will be cold so be prepared. Please get the girls to bed at a decent hour friday so they will be awake! :)
I did not have anyone to video tape the game so I was unable to do highlight videos. I will find someone to record the next game for me!

Great Battle
The girls fought to the end and took a 2-1 victory over the Bruisers! There were a lot of jitters including with the coaches, we had no idea how the girls would respond to playing older girls. We are so proud of all of them. We've got to keep fighting...... one game at a time!
Next game is this Saturday Jan. 24 at 10:30am. Please be there by 10:10. Titan FC is 2-0!

First two games
Games: Bring your ball, water, and ID card!
Sunday January 18th 3:30pm VS Bruisers (be there by 3:00pm)
Saturday January 24th 10:30am VS Titan FC (be there by 10:00am)
I told the girls there are 5 really good teams in the U10 division and we are playing two of the top ones first! Tell them to play hard and never give up!!
Players must have their 08\09 ID card or they will not be able to play, if you do not have yours you must arrive at least 30 minutes or so before the first game so you can get one made!
Uniform: Wear your new royal shirt, White shorts, and White socks. Must use indoor soccer shoes or regular tennis shoes only! If you want you can go get your name on the back of your shirt or for the new girls you can also go get a 4" number put on the left front of your shorts.
